Also this year OTR students will participate to the « 1 hour of Code » event!
The Hour of Code is a global movement introducing tens of millions of students worldwide to computer science, inspiring kids to learn more, breaking stereotypes, and leaving them feeling empowered.
Some Amazon Women in Engineeringvolunteers will come to school on December 7th 2023 to give an introductory speech related to the STEM and engineering world and will supervise the “1 hour of code” activity. This empowering event brings real-world tech role models into the classrooms of Grade 3 to 12 students! Grade 1 and Grade 2 students will also participate to the event under the supervision of OTR Primary ICT teacher!
