For over 34 years, Nathalie has dedicated her energy and passion to the world of preschool and primary education. Her journey began in Paris—which perhaps explains her fondness for al fresco coffee and beautiful bookstores—before continuing in Luxembourg for the past 15 years, where she now supports families and staff in children’s educational success. Having been with OTR since its inception in 2014, she helped build a unique project where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential in a safe and stimulating environment.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Literature and Foreign Civilizations and a Master’s degree in Education, Nathalie draws upon a modern pedagogical vision based on kindness, curiosity, and educational excellence. Passionate about literature and travel, she incorporates these inspirations into her daily life to awaken the mind, develop curiosity, and nurture a love of learning.

TANIA CANONE – Secondary School

Tania is an experienced education professional specialising in curriculum development, student assessment, and innovative teaching methodologies. At OTR, she has found the ideal environment to foster innovation and deliver high-level programs recognised worldwide, such as the IB and Cambridge curricula.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Education and brings international experience, having lived in several countries and explored different school systems. Tania began her career in Human Resources, Training & Development, gaining experience in professional learning and team building. She is particularly interested in innovative learning design and leading change in education. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family on the snowy slopes of Italy.

Administration

MASSIMO ALBORINO – Financial Administrative Director

With over 25 years of experience in finance and fund operations in Luxembourg , the Financial & Administration at OTR International School manages administrative, financial, and human resources processes, including invoicing, payments, student records, and staff coordination.

Working in a multicultural environment, the team combines professionalism with approachability, ensuring all processes are efficient, transparent, and well-organized. Being part of OTR International School allows the department to support a vibrant community, creating a smooth-running environment where students, families, and staff receive the clarity, guidance, and support they need to focus on learning, growth, and wellbeing throughout the academic year.

EVA BALLESTEROS – Assistant Principal, Academics & Innovation

Eva—or as everyone calls her, DrB—brings extensive international experience, having worked in schools across Europe, the Middle East, and the United States in a range of leadership and teaching roles. Dr. B holds a PhD in Education (Curriculum and Instruction) and has built her career around improving teaching and learning through thoughtful curriculum design and strong pedagogical practice. Her work focuses on supporting teachers, developing coherent academic programmes, and ensuring that students experience an education that is both rigorous and relevant.

She believes that education should go beyond content; fostering critical thinking, awareness of the world, and a sense of responsibility, in schools where academic excellence, wellbeing, and curiosity coexist and students feel both challenged and supported. Outside school, Eva enjoys making the most of life in Luxembourg, particularly walking through its beautiful streets and landscapes with her dog.
