Our school has once again participated in the “1 Hour of Code” event, in collaboration with AWE (Amazon Women in Engineering), as part of our ongoing commitment to fostering digital skills and coding literacy among our students.
The Hour of Code (https://hourofcode.com/us) is a global movement introducing tens of millions of students worldwide to computer science, inspiring kids to learn more, breaking stereotypes, and leaving them feeling empowered.
OTR students from Grade 1 to Grade 10 participated to the “1 hour of code” activity with AWE volunteers together with our teachers, coordinated by Mr Neal, yesterday Wednesday December 11th 2024. At the end of the hour of code students received a Certificate of Completion and an Amazon branded mug in recognition of their effort and results!
We are pleased to share a video with some memories of the event.
Have a great day!
