French Language and Francophonie Week

Like every year, the “Semaine de la langue française et de la Francophonie” is the event for lovers of words in France and abroad. and it’s organised around 20 March, international day of the Francophonie: this year the week from 16 until 24 March 2024.

This week allows us to celebrate the French language through numerous activities organized throughout France and abroad.

This event is a privileged moment of French-speaking identity. Thousands of events are organized in France and abroad each year:

• writing workshops
• oratorical joust
• etc.
